The Regional Marketing team is responsible for strategising and implementing go-to-market activities and working with local teams to localise marketing for the specific markets. The Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing for the region. This team is responsible for data-driven solutions, tracking and measuring data to reach the targeted customers. Browse our Marketing team openings to see how you can make an impact with us.**About the Team**:The PR communications team at Shopee manages Shopee’s external communications and media relations. Being a part of this team requires passion for the tech industry, and understanding of the business and media landscapes.You will need to develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Shopee’s dynamic and fast-evolving business and the industries in which we operate, and translate this understanding into creative and engaging strategies to communicate the Shopee story to our external audiences.To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage different projects with tight deadlines. You need to be a self starter who can work cross-functionally with various regional and local stakeholders from PR, marketing, operations and beyond.Main responsibilities- Execute PR strategies for Shopee Brazil;- Develop communications materials including press releases, narratives, media pitches, briefing sheets;- Create and handle corporate content such as presentations and LinkedIn posts;- Maintain and build relations with key media/journalists;- Dealing with enquiries from the public and respond to media requests;- Work alongside with the PR agency;- Work in cross-areas projects.**Requirements**:Job requirements- Relevant experience in PR/Corporate Communications (preferably a mix of agency and in-house experience);- Bachelor's degree in communications or related field;- Great network in the segment;- A creative mind and adapt at content creation for the various PR channels;- Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently;- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;- Strong attention to detail;- Advanced English.
