Trainee Program – Electrical Engineering Department

SecuControl is a global company, with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, headquartered in Germany, with units in Brazil, the United States and South Africa, a leader in secure test interface solutions.

Our facilities deal with manufacturing, sales, assembly, and technical support, serving our customers locally. Our products enable the electric power supply sector and industrial customers to improve procedures and enhance safety in relay tests.

We offer a high level of customization in our product lines, combined with various solutions for relay test connections.

In Brazil, we are located in Santo Antônio de Lisboa, Florianópolis-SC, in Corporate Park.

Work Hours: Full time (40 hours weekly);

Trainee program for the training and qualification of new engineers. The goal is to provide training and engage in activities such as:

  • Study of complementary and competitive products and markets;
  • Design and optimization of electro-electronic systems and circuits;
  • Design and optimization of electromechanical products;
  • Project management;
  • Analysis and development of methods, processes, tools enhancing efficiency and quality;
  • Creation and revision of technical and commercial documentation for products and processes;
  • Internal and external technical and commercial support;
  • Visits to clients and participation in meetings, fairs, and events in the electrical engineering sector;
  • Study and development of tooling and molds for plastic injection.
  • Activities in the first and second years will take place in Florianópolis – SC, Germany, and the USA. Possibility of participating in events or visiting clients or partners in Brazil and other countries.

It is emphasized that during professional trips, all basic costs for the collaborator (transportation, meals, and lodging) are covered by the company.

With the development of the collaborator in technical and interpersonal aspects, the aim is, at the end of the training period, to define a specific sector and location (Brazil, Germany, USA or South Africa) for the establishment of the professional.

The professional will be employed under a work contract with the Brazilian branch, in accordance with local labor regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: in the last period or completed higher education in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering or related fields;
  • Ability to work from Florianópolis and temporary or permanent relocation to other countries;
  • Valid passport;
  • Advanced/Fluent English – interview in English;
  • Desirable: German and/or Spanish;
  • Intermediate knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Office;
  • Skills: flexibility, initiative, teamwork, good communication and relationship skills, willingness to learn.
