Overview

Lead Salesforce Engineer - Remote (Central or South America) at Greenbox Capital. This role is for a curious, driven, and collaborative Senior Salesforce Engineer to scale our Salesforce platform across multiple clouds and business units. You will design and build custom Salesforce solutions, working with Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver tools that support internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce features using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and custom APIs
  • Own the build, testing, and delivery of high-quality code aligned with business priorities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Salesforce environment
  • Optimize existing Salesforce applications for speed, scalability, and usability
  • Promote developmental best practices, including testing, version control, and deployment pipelines
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
You're a Strong Fit If You Have
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development and administration
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
  • Experience guiding and mentoring junior developers and ensuring code quality
  • Experience with Salesforce Clouds including Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
  • Proven experience with REST, SOAP, and other Salesforce integrations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, and sharing rules
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
What You'll Bring
  • Experience or familiarity with the alternative lending or financial services industry is a plus
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or higher preferred
  • Familiarity with Git, Gearset, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with enterprise Salesforce implementations
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for agile project tracking and reporting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, especially in remote work environments
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal abilities and high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional initiatives
