About the Company WSI, a leader in digital marketing services, is seeking a highly organized and entrepreneurial-minded Account Manager (AM) to manage relationships with small and medium-sized business (SMB) owners. About the Role As an AM, you will be our clients' primary point of contact, ensuring their needs are met while delivering exceptional digital marketing solutions. You will work closely with the internal delivery team, ensuring seamless communication and service execution. You will be responsible for onboarding new clients, managing ongoing relationships, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive additional value for clients. Responsibilities Client Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring smooth transitions and setting expectations for ongoing service. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for SMB owners, understanding their business needs and translating those into actionable strategies. Internal Coordination: Communicate effectively with the internal delivery team to ensure client requests and concerns are addressed promptly and accurately. Client Support: Handle client inquiries, either resolving issues personally or collaborating with the delivery team for additional data or solutions as needed. Upsell and Cross-sell Opportunities: Actively identify opportunities to upsell additional services and close deals to enhance the client's digital marketing strategy. Reporting & Strategy Meetings: Conduct monthly reporting meetings with clients to review results, discuss recommendations, and create new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Time Management: Efficiently manage time with a typical allocation of 1 hour per client per month, ensuring all tasks and communication are completed within this timeframe. Accurately track time and ensure optimal efficiency. Qualifications Experience in Digital Marketing: Proven track record managing clients in web development, SEO, PPC, or related digital marketing services. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive business growth and client satisfaction. Upselling Expertise: Experience in identifying upsell opportunities and converting them into revenue-driving actions. Organizational Skills: Highly organized, capable of managing multiple clients simultaneously while tracking time and delivering timely results. Efficiency: Demonstrated ability to work within tight time allocations while maintaining quality service. Client-Focused: Experience working with SMBs, particularly owners or decision-makers, and tailoring marketing strategies to meet their specific lead generation goals. Preferred Skills 2+ years of experience in client management within a digital marketing agency or similar role. Proficiency with CRM systems, ClickUp, and other digital marketing tools.
