We are seeking a Lead Product Designer with expertise in creating design systems, modernizing web applications, and delivering exceptional B2B and B2C user experiences.

We are a profitable and growing ed-tech startup that provides the behind-the-scenes software powering graduation ceremonies for most universities and colleges across the United States. Suppose you think back to your graduation, from registration, ticketing, and check-in, to automated name reading. In that case, those are just some of the processes we’ve managed for over 20 years for some of the largest and most prestigious universities in the world, such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Texas, Texas A&M, Stanford, Arizona State, USC, NYU, UPenn, and many others.

This role requires someone who can collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to enhance the user experience for over 1 million students who interact with our platform annually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the redesign of front-end web applications to improve user experience for both students and administrators.

• Develop and implement comprehensive design systems that streamline engineering processes and reinforce brand consistency.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers working within the Microsoft C# stack to ensure seamless integration of user interface design with backend functionalities.

• Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts.

• Apply Material Design principles to create visually compelling and cohesive designs.

• Ensure all designs meet the latest accessibility standards for an inclusive user experience.

• Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and refine designs accordingly.

What We Are Looking For:

• 8-10 years of experience leading teams in product design, particularly in the B2B sector.

• Proficiency in Figma with a proven track record of redesigning front-end web applications and establishing design systems.

• In-depth knowledge of Material Design (or similar frameworks) and its application in modern web and mobile interfaces.

• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and how to implement them in user interface design.

• Experience collaborating with software engineers, particularly within the Microsoft C# stack.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
