Strategic Business Development Role About the Position: The ideal candidate will possess a strong strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust business relationships with senior decision makers across software companies, M&A advisors, and private equity/venture capital professionals. Design and implement an M&A pipeline strategy using Salesforce CRM and create comprehensive market maps to foster partnerships in assigned software industry verticals. Meet and exceed monthly M&A targets, focusing on meaningful contacts and measurable sourcing KPIs. Qualify M&A opportunities efficiently and ensure accurate lead allocation within portfolio verticals. Requirements: At least 3+ years of experience in business development/sales roles at software companies or client-facing M&A/finance positions within business development, sales, and/or account management. Advanced verbal and written communication skills, coupled with confidence and executive presence to engage with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity, and venture capital professionals. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to variable work schedules. Exhibits an exceptional work ethic, proactively driving results with a sense of urgency.
