About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Global Account Management team. This role entails spearheading global sales, overseeing international accounts, and expanding our business.

You will collaborate with global, regional and local teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and acting as a trusted advisor whilst championing Kynetec and all we have to offer.

This is a high-impact position that offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to our organisation's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

Achievement of global sales revenue targets:

  1. You plan sales, and work with our finance team to finalise budgets for the fiscal year
  2. You conduct global sales meetings, and prepare proposal based on client needs
  3. You follow-up on sales initiatives, and drive those towards success
  4. You are responsible for administrative tasks around sales bookings and invoicing
  5. You keep track of sales revenue targets for your clients

Account management & client presentations

  1. You build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders
  2. You handle client complaints & find solutions to issues raised
  3. You respond to specific questions clients may have with regards to our data (run additional queries, give training to our tools, …)
  4. You prepare for personal or online presentations, and conduct these presentations. You also give input/feedback to further optimize our presentation documents for the future
  5. You stay close to our key client contacts to understand their current market situation during a workshop and based on preliminary results or interim results (what questions do clients want to see answered based on our data?)
  6. Based on the workshop, you finetune the report for presentation to meet client needs (addressing their questions from the workshop, adding a customized executive summary)
  7. You present the report to the clients & keep notes summarizing the minutes of the meeting
  8. You follow-up on the topics/questions raised during the meeting

Business Development:

  1. You work on sales pipelines
  2. For new business, you work closely together with our Business Development unit
  3. You take meetings and prepare for prospect/client meetings – introducing our product portfolio
  4. You work on proposals based on briefings from clients

Requirements:

Essential –

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a commercial based role (Account Management, Client Management, Sales)
  • You have 5+ years of experience working in global agricultural markets – Across both crop protection and seed
  • You have a deep understanding of panel data, and possess the analytical capabilities to work with our deliverables and our query tool
  • You have previous experience presenting for large audiences – In person and online
  • You have experience in negotiating and enjoy finding solutions for all parties
  • You have significant experience in working directly with clients
  • You have fantastic communication skills and have experience working with global, regional and local teams

Preferred –

  • Experience in Custom Insights or Subscription Market Research, working directly with Agriculture based clients
  • Experience with Kynetec products
  • Experience in multiple commercial roles across several Agriculture organisations
  • Additional language skills
