About the jobAs a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities.

You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management.

You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

Google is investing significantly in building a world-leading payments platform. This platform will be underpinned by strong, lasting partnerships with key players in the payments ecosystem.
The Payments Partnerships BD team has a deep understanding of the complex and ever-changing payments landscape. They are experts in navigating the maze of interactions that exist between different players in the ecosystem.

This expertise allows them to build successful relationships with partners and create innovative solutions that meet the needs of users.

This team is responsible for leading, managing, and growing these strategic partnerships. They work with partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and co-creation. They also help partners to integrate with Google's payments platform and leverage Google's technology and expertise.

The team also works closely with product and engineering teams to develop engaging commerce experiences for users around the world.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners.

Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business.

The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more.

Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

ResponsibilitiesDrive cross-functional engagement with teams including Strategy, Finance, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations in order to deliver on key product area objectives.

Ensure that partners are mobilizing around actual deployments/implementations and once live, engage with partners to optimize implementations and drive growth.

Develop and manage direct relationships and drive executive-level engagement with key partners across payment and digital wallet ecosystems on core Google payments initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to establish our strategy and execution for specific product verticals, including the development of Go To Market documentation in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.

Develop, negotiate and execute term sheets and contracts with partners, often under time pressure Identify and maintain pipelines and tracking documents, communicate key updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
