Our Flow Control Business Line is in search of a seasoned professional specialized in the Mining and Metals market.

For this role, you will be accountable for:

  • Participating in the seamless integration of Flow Control with Valmet by establishing common cooperation processes, defining product mixes, and updating training materials.
  • Developing Key Account processes in line with Valmet guidelines within Flow Control.
  • Expanding the Flowrox product range for both existing and new customers in the Metals and Mining sector across Latam countries.
  • Collaborating to devise and oversee a dedicated Strategic & Sales Plan.
  • Providing technical support to sales teams and monitoring sales opportunities in the Metals and Mining segment.
  • Cooperating with R&D and product centers to align product development with the technological requirements of OEMs and end customers.
  • Working closely with Global Project Sales Teams and local Flow Control sales offices to formulate project strategies.
  • Delivering monthly reports covering account development updates, market intelligence, competitor behavior, and more.
  • Supporting industry management in shaping and executing business strategies.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Production or related fields.
  • Substantial experience in Process Engineering within the global industrial landscape.
  • Business acumen and an understanding of customer drivers in the metals and mining sectors.
  • Proven ability to devise and implement long-term strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Strong communication skills for multicultural interactions.
  • Open-mindedness and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team, including project leadership skills.
