Parallel Distribution is a cutting edge advertising technology startup that provides horizontally scaled organic social content for international brands. By managing numerous organic accounts, generating high quality, original content, and posting multiple times daily, the company delivers high-frequency, high-trust impressions and drives rapid content iteration to optimize outcomes.


We are planning to build a content and client services team onsite in São Paulo and we are looking for an operations lead to help with account management, hiring, and content production.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Operations Lead based in São Paulo. This is a senior, high-ownership role. You will manage client relationships, oversee campaign performance updates, hire and develop creative talent, and build the foundation of the Brazil team. You’ll collaborate directly with U.S. leadership and help shape the strategy, culture, and structure of our LATAM expansion. The successful candidate will contribute immediately by learning our content tools, creating high quality content for clients, overseeing campaign performance, communicating with clients, before eventually building a team with individualized roles. Applicants must have experience in social media content creation and direct account management.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing client accounts — including performance reporting, strategic updates, and day-to-day communication.
  • Strong background in social media content creation, including short-form video, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or other platform-specific formats.
  • Ability to independently manage campaigns end-to-end, from content production through performance analysis.
  • Experience hiring, leading, or mentoring creative talent (social media managers, editors, designers, creators, or production staff).
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken — must be comfortable communicating with U.S.-based leadership and international clients.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to operate autonomously and structure workflows efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, creator economy dynamics, and performance-driven content strategies.
  • Comfort with fast-paced environments and ability to prioritize multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Hands-on mindset — willingness to produce content yourself at the beginning before transitioning into a management and team-building role.
  • Experience working in or with advertising agencies, social media agencies, or performance marketing teams.
