Our operations will soon expand from Sao Paulo to cities across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, proving that real climate impact and transformative business models can be built first where the need is greatest.About the JobThis role will establish and lead the foundation of training and development at Vammo, ensuring that every employee - from entry-level operators to directors - has the tools, knowledge, and skills to grow and succeed.The professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling training programs across technical, operational, and leadership areas. This includes creating structured training pathways, digital learning solutions, and leadership development initiatives.Also, we don't want someone who will simply “deliver content.” Instead, we are looking for a builder who can create scalable, measurable programs that elevate the skills of our workforce, strengthen company culture, and improve performance in all facets across the organization.What you’ll doTraining Strategy & Framework: Design and implement Vammo’s first-ever training and development framework, ensuring alignment with company values and business goals. This includes founding and building our Training School. Mechanic & Technical Training: Build structured programs for mechanics, electricians and operational staff - in conjunction with area leaders - that ensure consistent quality, safety, and efficiency across our operations.Leadership Development: Create tailored programs for team leads and managers focused on people management, communication, and decision-making. Digital & Scalable Learning Solutions: Develop scalable, digitally enabled solutions (e-learning platforms, AI-powered tools, blended learning modules) to reach and empower a diverse workforce.Process Creation: Establish systems to track employee progress, training effectiveness, and certification compliance.Measurement & Reporting: Define success metrics, measure ROI of training programs, and provide regular reports to leadership.Continuous Improvement: Use employee feedback, performance data, and external benchmarking to continuously evolve training programs.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with leaders across all orgs at Vammo to ensure training addresses real business needs.Who are we looking for?Experience: 8–10 years in training and development, ideally in industries such as luxury, retail, beauty, industrials, or pharmaceuticals, with a track record of creating impactful training programs.Comfortability with ambiguity: Whether you’ve had previous experience in startups or fast growth environments, comfortability with ambiguity will be keyCustomer first mentality: A dedication to putting the customer first of all employee (and when applicable, customer) training programs.Builder Mentality: Hands-on approach with the ability to design, test, and scale new programs quickly.Cultural Sensitivity: Deep understanding of working with frontline, operational, and low-income employees in Brazil, while also supporting senior leadership.Ample educational program building experience: We are looking for someone that has built educational programs, ranging from robust multi year educational programs to one-off training programsAnalytical Mindset: Comfort with using data and feedback to assess training effectiveness and iterate programs.Tech-Enabled Approach: Familiarity with digital learning platforms, scalable training systems, and AI tools for education is a plus.Human Resources Experience: We will be rapidly scaling our business, and as such, Training and Development leaders with ample exposure to HR business practices are highly soughtWhat will you get?You will join a rockstar team of brilliant people working to revolutionize urban mobility.You have a real impact every day, reducing carbon emissions on our planet and improving the lives of Brazilian motoboys.The ownership and autonomy to experiment, take initiative and design new processes and systems.Competitive salary and equity package, plus benefitsThe opportunity to work closely with the founders and Executives of Latin America’s best funded electric mobility startupVammo is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
