Summary: Coordinate and support all the accounting and tax functions for ZIM Brazil using the accounting system and software provided by the company.


Support ECSA District Finance Manager in all monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and tax/fiscal reports, declarations, activity, obligations (F/S reports, local taxes reports and calculations like PIS, COFINS ISS, Depreciation and assets books, etc) in compliance with both local rules and ZIM policy.


Management of administrative, facilities and IT activities for all ZIM offices in Brazil and Argentina.


Accounting: Monitor and support all the posting processes for ZIM Integrated Services - Brazil by using the system provided by ZIM.


Work with the main areas, to support and analyze monthly expenses, aiming the accuracy of the data and expenses.


On a monthly basis monitor, control, and report to the S.A. Finance Manager all the expenses for ZIM Integrated Services - Brazil performing a comparison with Budget data via F&B and P&L Reports (direct access to the admin. contracts and tariffs).


Tax: Support District Finance Manager on all monthly and yearly local taxes calculations, declaration, and reporting (such as PIS, COFINS, ISS, ECD, ECF, Transfer Price, and others) in accordance with the Brazilian legislation.


Monitor and support the billing procedure related to the incomes from ZIM and from others in accordance with the remuneration agreement.


Reporting: Grant all the reports prepared and sent according to Brazilian laws and regulations, and HO requirements.


Audits: Coordinate and support the external audit activities.


Budget: Support District Finance Manager in the annual budget preparation, managing the monthly analysis between Actual vs Budget, providing explanation for differences and discrepancies. IT Annual Budget preparation for all the agencies in Brazil.


Administration, facilities and IT: Leadership of administrative team, controlling monthly expenses, cleaning and maintenance services, cafeteria and material purchasing.


Management of administrative and IT vendors with focus on improvements, contracts negotiation in order to reach better conditions and payment terms.
