Main Responsibilities and Responsibilities of the Position:


We are looking for a Global Communications & Marketing Manager to tackle a major challenge of combining strategy with execution capacity to develop and implement communication plans on the agenda of forestry concessions and carbon credit projects in the region. 


This professional needs to technically master Climate & Carbon, but it is very important to know about sustainability and, above all, to believe that this agenda is central to the construction of fairer and more inclusive economic, social and environmental development for the most vulnerable. 


• Responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategy, aligned with Future Climate's strategic objectives; 

• Mapping and relationships with stakeholders at municipal, state and federal levels; 

• Create and manage communication campaigns to promote concessions initiatives; 

• Create initiatives to improve processes and ways of working in the different areas of responsibility of the team in daily operations. Optimize resources to ensure best execution and readiness to act on business results. 

• Manage digital presence, including website, social networks and other communication channels. online 

• Be responsible for ensuring that the company is in the right place, at the right time, with the right content. 

• Ensure your team executes regional media directions based on global media strategy and regional/local customer and media insights 

• Produce diverse content, such as press releases, articles, newsletters, annual reports and marketing materials. 

• Establish and maintain relationships with the media;  

• Ensure brand and message consistency across all communications.


Education, extracurricular courses, and languages:


• Degree in Social Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related areas. 

• Fluent English; 

• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Marketing, Communication or related areas.


Experience for the position (Technical Skills):


• Solid experience in institutional, corporate and commercial marketing (Sales), with an emphasis on positioning and digital tools.

• Proven track record of delivering strategies and solutions that drive business results; 

• Interpersonal relationship skills and strategic vision of communication vehicles and stakeholders.


Desirable skills for the position:


• Proven experience in communication, preferably in the environmental or sustainable development sector. 

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. 

• Experience with social media management and creation of digital content. 

• Soft skill in leading a team with more than 10 employees, good academic background, preferably with some international experience.

• Availability to travel within and outside Brazil.
