We are looking for a seasoned Lead Automation Tester with a strong background in Java to join our team. As a key team member, you will lead testing efforts, mentor team members, and ensure the quality of our software solutions through effective test automation, driving innovation and optimizing testing processes across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, fostering collaboration and technical growth
  • Create and maintain testing documentation, including test cases, test strategies, and test plans
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing across different environments such as NPE, UAT, and PROD
  • Extend and maintain the Test Automation Framework (TAF), ensuring scalability and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regression testing and identify root causes of test failures
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in testing, code quality, and automation processes
  • Ensure testing coverage across various components of the software by designing test suites for complex systems
  • Take ownership of project-level testing deliverables and timelines, ensuring on-time and high-quality completion

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in QA automation or a similar role
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Java 8+ and SQL, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize code in testing environments
  • Expertise in working with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, with proven experience designing robust test scenarios
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG
  • Advanced familiarity with Git, Maven, and Jenkins for CI/CD processes, with the ability to implement improvements
  • Strong capability to create and review testing documentation for complex systems
  • Proven ability to lead testing strategies in cross-functional teams and deliver measurable results under tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to use English at a B2 level or higher in professional contexts

Nice to have
  • Strong knowledge of Data Ingestion/Data Fabric
  • Understanding of Spring frameworks with experience designing test cases for complex integrations
  • Knowledge of cloud services or microservices testing architectures
