Installation Made Easy ("IME") provides software and process management that enable retailers and contractors to offer installed home improvements to homeowners in a convenient, consistent, and affordable manner. IME senior management has over 100 years of retail management and home improvement industry experience.

The Compliance Specialist position is responsible for overseeing the administration of all bond claim handling within the company. The individual in this role will be the subject matter expert in executing bonds, managing a few highly complex claims through settlement and resolution, and is responsible for ensuring that bond claims are resolved in the most efficient, effective, and timely manner to deliver on IME's best practices and commitment to the customer.

An ideal candidate for this role will be driven, detailed oriented, and be able to effectively communicate with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders, customers, and peers in order to achieve organization goals. The candidate must be able to work independently in a remote environment.

Essential Functions:
  • Analyze, review, and investigate all surety bond claims.
  • Gather the necessary supporting information to submit surety bond claims.
  • Timely and cost-effective management of all assigned bond executions
  • Prepare reports, document bond claim files, and review and manage outstanding files for adequacy and timeliness of investigation
  • Manage claims toward a prompt and reasonable resolution.
  • Review bond forms for coverage, contract specifications, and requirements, penalties and timeliness.
  • Follow-up in a timely and professional manner with all customers and peers.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to maximize compliance
  • Assist other Specialists with projects and perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-4 years' experience with compliance or related role
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to think for themselves and possess a desire to learn and understand job duties and responsibilities
  • Independently driven with the ability to prioritize responsibilities without direct supervision
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to various scenarios
  • Efficient and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing or multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with bond execution
