Responsibilities:
  • Manage port operations (receiving, storage, and shipping), focusing on people development to improve productivity, safety, and operational costs optimization.
  • Improve logistical processes for shipments on specialized vessels for pulp (breakbulk).
  • Support negotiations with suppliers to balance quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Present contract management through structured monthly routines, monitoring performance indicators.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage the entire breakbulk operation, inbound and outbound, using cranes and monitoring vessels.
  • Lead the port team, ensuring safety and high productivity.
  • Participate in union negotiations, applying collective agreements.
  • Act as the primary interface between planning, production, and operations.
  • Support operational efficiency, equipment performance, and vessel shipping.
  • Identify opportunities for new port operation areas.
  • Manage contracts and interface with suppliers, including port operators and BIDs.
  • Control budgets, forecasts, and consolidate monthly results.
  • Oversee dockside services, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure traceability of inventories and monitor vessel planning, safety, and costs.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Participate in meetings with public agencies.
  • Maintain updated operational procedures.
  • Monitor port indicators and service levels.
  • Propose and implement improvements.
  • Attend safety committee meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Solid experience with port operations.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Availability to work at Santos - SP.
