We are looking for a Data Center Operations and Support Analyst - Windows VMWare, who wants to learn and transform their career, in a CLT contract, on-site, in the city of Belo Horizonte / Minas Gerais.

Responsibilities

• Manage, keep, operate and monitor high availability DCs using technologies like VXRail Dell, Storage EMC and HP Baremetal Servers. Follow procedures for DRP, understand commands syntax and outcomes. Apply patches and monitor health infra indicators. Consider the use of servers for VMware virtualized platform, as well as Baremetal solutions on Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge Core Network (switches spine-leaf / L3-7).
• Experience or certification equivalent for more 1,500 VM´s / Physical Servers.
• Monitor facilities Datacenter (cooling, electrical, temperature / humidity) manually or using tools.
• Prepare runbooks and routine documentation to be followed during operation.
• Storage and Backup Administrator: maintain communication between storage and server, generate appropriate instances to maintain security and availability, verify backups are performed and stored safely, follow company policies.

Tools & Technologies

• Unisphere, Veritas NETBackup, OpsCenter, Veeam EMC VNX5500, HP P2000, DELL MD3200, HP P4500, EMC VNX5200, DELL ME4024, Tape library Dell.
• Install, configure, define policies, monitor backup activities for hybrid environment using Veeam / CommVault, NetBackup.
• Coordinate tapelibrary operation in all remote sites.
• Responsible for keeping tape libraries safe according to customer policies.
• Monitor execution; in case of failure recover / restart operation.
• Scale problems if required.
• Participate in DR training and real situations. Restore activities to reestablish environment quickly.
• Keep documentation up to date for backup / restore / DR.
• Prepare runbooks for command center execution.
• Experience with backup / snapshot images, configuration, files, objects, archives, databases, SAP using disks, tapelibrary, cloud.
• Systems engineer, telecommunications or related, with knowledge of tools like.
• Experience for Datacenter facilities.
• Experience DC IT Infrastructure (Servers, Core Network, Storage, Operational System, ERP, HCI).
• Used to monitor multiple devices / applications using Zabbix / Grafana / PBI / Tableau.
• Experience to execute runbooks according to incident events.
• Experience to find the right SOP and provide feedback for improvements.

Key responsibilities

All hardware employed must be in the Microsoft, VMware, and Redhat compatibility matrices. All solutions provided for connectivity to centralized arrays (servers with HBA) must be compatible with Huawei Dorado v6, Hitachi VSP, Dell / EMC VMAX 40k and VMAX3 arrays. Providing maintenance and technical support for all software and equipment provided in the platform-as-a-service solution.

The professional shall perform the validation of the compatibility matrix with all devices connected to the Storages and Data Network whenever requested to update drivers or firmware of the server.

Monitoring in large activities with prior request and scheduling by the contractor (for example: Disaster Recovery tests, electrical stop in the Data Center for preventive maintenance, planned changes, etc.).

Apply updating of the microcodes of the contractor\'s hardware park, and make changes in the engineering of the equipment that improve its reliability or availability, improvement or increase of functionalities, and the replacement of components for which defects have been detected in the laboratory or in other customers of the contractor, even if this defect has not manifested itself in the product, hardware and software provided to the contractor.

Knowledge to monitor the capacity and efficiency of the delivered solution, as well as suggest new additions / growth of baselines according to utilization. Storage and Backup Administrator: responsible for maintaining the communication between storage and server, generating appropriate instances to maintain the security and availability of the environment, verifying that backups are being performed and stored safely. Follows company policies. Provide solution using remote management tools.

Ensure SLAs at the Administrative Level.

Qualifications / Nice to Have

• Experience as a Product Analyst / Sales / Pre-Sales / Business Analysis.
