Who we are and why we exist

What we do

System1 predicts and improves marketing effectiveness. Our advertising and idea tests measure emotion to give our customers the most accurate predictions of the business impact of creativity. We ‘predict’ (provide research results) and ‘improve’ (provide insight and consultancy on those results) on arguably three of the most critical marketing questions for our customers: advertising effectiveness, innovation effectiveness and brand effectiveness. We aspire to do these three things better than anyone else at a value that makes System1 our customers’ choice.

What will you be doing?

  • This is an exciting role where you will be supporting our US team and could travel to our US and UK offices.
  • Respond to queries in JIRA Helpdesk and oversee the efficient resolution of project delivery
  • Manage fieldwork performance and escalate issues with the suppliers when necessary
  • Advising sales and research teams on best practice and product concerns
  • Working with key delivery suppliers around the world, including our offshore Delivery team in Bulgaria and expert sample providers, translation and data processing/charting agencies
  • Work closely with the sales and research teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless customer delivery
  • Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the delivery operations process and keep instruction documents updated
  • This role will be working in English, regardless of location of the customer or supplier

You need to be this kind of person:

  • Happy working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with changes as they arise.
  • Confident communicating at all levels, both internally and externally and liaising with other operational teams on project progress.
  • Ability to manage relationships with 3rd party teams.
  • Happy working collaboratively as part of a team and building great working relationships across the company while being the first point of contact for colleagues on individual projects.
  • Confidence to train and brief new team members.
  • Able to prioritise workload and be resourceful in solving problems with a drive for results.
  • Positive and conscientious, with a flexible approach to work displaying honestly and integrity in everything you do.
  • Eager to learn new skills, products, and processes and keen to build on existing experience.
  • Able to remain calm and focussed under pressure.
  • Ability to define key issues and provide supporting detail to reach resolution.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot common delivery issues, with great attention to detail and very organized.
  • Ability to understand projects from end to end and manage all related tasks.
  • Ability to carry out targeted analysis of datasets.

You need to have the following experience:

  • Must have
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
  • Three to five years’ work experience
  • Understanding of Project management principles
  • Able to work on shift of 10am - 8pm (TBD)
  • Basic experience with ticketing systems (JIRA etc) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Nice if you have
  • Experience working for a US-based team
  • Two years’ experience in a role with a customer-focussed mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, international relations, or a related field
