**About the role**:
DNV is seeking a versatile and highly qualified **Market Manager** for the **Oil and Gas, and Risk sectors in South America**, to help to shape and implement the vision and strategy for Energy Systems services. The role is **primarily within Brazil** and might provide support to other countries in South America on a case-by-case basis.

The **Market Manager** in the Energy sector will play a key role within DNV following & supporting Customers on the full Energy value chain from **O&G, Market and Risks, New Technologies/Solutions, and the Growth Segments Hydrogen and CSS**, to empower Customers pursuing the Energy Transition.

The **Market Manager** in the Energy Sector reports to the Market Area Manager South America.

In this role you have a **strong market and customer focus**, you will **drive sales and manage customer relations** with a group of customers in a defined market. This role gives customers a voice within the organization, challenges the internal organization on customer centricity, and provides input for customer/market policy and strategy. Moreover, in your position as **Market Manager**, you may manage some DNV Key Accounts which have operations across regions.

You will also work in collaboration with different teams in the organization, including Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs. Last but not least: We expect that you work in close collaboration with the delivery units and contribute to building the (people) sales competencies in the and strive for a high-performing and collaborative culture.

**Primary tasks of this role**:

- Drives sales, by actively managing sales pipeline growth and increasing order intake for defined market area. Strong influence on project pricing, resourcing, bid quality review across BA.
- Monitors and manages the sales funnel from sales-qualified leads to won opportunities
- Develops a customer segment strategy for the relevant geographic area or customer segment and focus on business development in the market area including cross
- and up-selling activities across BAs, BUs, and services
- Accelerate the development of the Growth Segments: Hydrogen and CSS.
- Optimizes the customer experience measured in the CSRI score
- Seeks deep customer insights (e.g. on strategic direction) including prospecting for new customers, market insights and (services of) competitors, and maintain an overview of major market trends, including analysis of political developments
- Fosters a relevant internal and external network; identifies, builds and strengthens relevant customer relationships.
- Work in collaboration with the technical colleagues from different Service Areas, Marketing and Finance tems, and Key Account Managers
- Stimulate collaboration within their region as well as across BA
- In some cases, acts as a project sponsor for key projects, monitors delivery of projects/services to ensure high-quality and consistency, participate in Cross sector opportunities.
- Supports the Market Area Manager in (Market Area) strategy and decision-making

**Position Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Experience of working at a senior level in the industry understanding market drivers and challenges in own market area.
- Demonstrate experience in the offshore and oil gas sector and desired experience in the growth segments Hydrogen and CCS with focus on Brazil.
- A deep understanding of the Brazilian market in the offshore and oil and gas sector, with excellent relations within this industry’s stakeholders, and other players driving the Energy Transition in Brazil, including governmental institutions.
- Fluency in Portugues and English, Spanish desirable.
