Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 12 years of experience in retail, performance marketing, and with Google Ads products
- Experience as a people manager
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with multi-stakeholder engagement, including executive or C-level customers
- Experience creating cross-functional alignment, executing on common goals, and delivering results in a matrixed organization
- Experience leading, developing, and mentoring teams to deliver results
- Experience in the financial services or digital marketing/advertising industries
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Analytical approach to building client relationships, translating product value to clients

**About the job**:
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As Head of Industry, you will lead and mentor account teams that use consultative skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions. You will also work with the Sales Leadership team to set objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You will help their teams deliver on goals and partner directly with customers to exceed business and merchant growth goals across markets and industries.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team and work with the regional Sales teams to uncover customers and to develop relationships with customers and their marketing services agencies.
- Drive business growth in the region/industry by developing C-level relationships.
- Analyze data trends and client performance, develop business plans, and prepare and conduct pitches and business presentations.
- Collaborate and consult with customers, increase our customer and agency base, and optimize their advertising investment.
- Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to serve as an advocate for events and conferences.
