**The Role and Responsibilities**

The position is responsible for providing strategic global logistics optimization support to the DuPont Electronic & Industrials Business Unit via engagement of the Global Procurement Regional Logistics and Trade Compliance teams and Global Category Managers.

Works together with business Integrated Operations stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Logistics teams, and Customer Service, to determine appropriate logistics strategies to secure the sufficient logistic capacity to meet the business PO goals and help mitigate potential logistics headwinds. Responsible for Corporate Logistics Project Management and driving the Corporate Safety Distribution objectives.

Primary point of contact to the business. Leads the alignment between the business and Global Procurement objectives. Consult with business unit Integrated Operations Teams, to provide expertise to enhance logistics systems/processes, service delivery, operational efficiencies, optimized solutions, and compliance/audits. Provides input from the business to the development of the strategic logistics plans.

Interacts with business leadership teams to create or improve business strategy processes that significantly accelerate the growth and improve performance of businesses. Responsibilities include leading projects, utilizing extensive logistics market intelligence and leading-edge systems and analysis techniques; learning and analyzing the client’s business; conducting voice of the client research; identifying and engaging business resources; managing projects; developing business improvement plans and executing against these plans; gaining leadership alignment and supporting sustainability of change.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Own client engagement activity and is the primary engagement resources between the businesses and Corporate Logistics Procurement and Trade Compliance
- Represent Global Logistics as a member of the business global Supply Chain/logistics leadership teams
- Represent, translate, and align interests and strategies of both the business and Logistics teams to meet client needs
- Influence business strategy and client needs to optimize service and cost and create competitive advantage in every supply chain
- Ensure supply chain and business initiatives are translated into Logistics project priorities by closely sharing the business global initiatives, Goals and bring business Voice of Customer to Corporate Logistics organization globally
- Acts as conduit back to the business with VOC from Corporate Logistics on interactions and information needed
- Be fully integrated with the business teams to support leveraged logistics solutions across procurement, operations, Import/Export trade compliance, and the 3rd party logistics management
- Responsible for communication of category strategy within the business, supporting CM and business implementation and compliance to contract agreements
- Own client needs, risk management, and total cost of ownership driving value through implementation
- Bring logistics expertise and innovations to strategic supply chain decisions and S&OP
- Bring business Voice of Customer to corporate Logistics Organization
- Engage with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Leads to ensure effective supplier performance management and value capture
- Own the BU Logistics Project Pipeline, identify and implement supply chain value capture/optimization opportunities
- Ensure BU Sourcing Manager and BU teams are aware of major initiatives and issues
- Share BU initiatives and Goals with corporate logistics organization on a routine basis
- Responsible for driving BU Distribution Safety Process engagement.
- Coach and mentor Logistics professionals
- Owns client needs, risk management, and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
- Organize and lead regional businesses reviews (e.g. Quarterly Supply Chain Reviews)
- Develop and support project pipelines with regional LOMs (Logistics Optimization Managers)
- Develops strategic plan for complex/strategic logistics systems and processes;
- Identifies and drives continuous improvement projects with business;
- Manages complex logistics projects globally with current logistics stakeholders;
- Develops and collaborates with business leaders and supply chain leaders in the establishment and execution of strategy
- Develops a global network within Logistics (regional LOMs and regional Logistics Specialists) in order to connect with global market trends on systems and processes;

**Your Qualification Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree with in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field is preferred and/or equivalent work experience;
- 10+ years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain;
- 5 years plus experience in leading global teams;
- Logistics market understand and proven experience capability;
- Project Management experience and/or PMBOK certified
- Strong negotiation skills
- Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills
