The goal of CORE (Center for Observational and Real-World Evidence) is to create value evidence strategies and generate real-world evidence (RWE) that informs decisions around the globe. The incumbent will join the CORE Regional Latin America and focus in the area of oncology. Under the guidance of the CORE Latin America lead, the director will have the responsibility of supporting the interpretation and translation of CORE integrated evidence strategies for oncology developed at the global level to our company's affiliates in Latin America. The scope of this support will include all phases of RWE activities that tailor these global strategies to the country strategies in the region. This process includes close alignment with the CORE oncology Product Line regarding strategy and plans, as well as having a high-level awareness of the setting and challenges in the Latin American countries.

The incumbent will work closely with cross functional partners from clinical, commercial, medical affairs, market access, policy and tumor specific value evidence teams to ensure the programs are consistent with our oncology priorities and strategies.

**The responsibilities includes, but are not limited to**:

- Design, conduct and deliver studies and tools to support value demonstration and product differentiation for in line and pipeline assets. Responsible for executing on research projects including development of the study protocol, analyses, and dissemination of the results internally and externally. The incumbent will be responsible for contracting and budget management for the projects.
- Support our country affiliates and adapt strategies and RWE to local needs. Provide outcomes research expertise in the development of RWE activities, tools, and arguments to guide discussion and interaction with oncology stakeholders, payers, health systems and clinicians at country level.
- Work closely with Value Evidence Sub Team (VEST) Leads, members of CORE and cross functional colleagues from commercial, medical affairs, clinical, policy, market access, country affiliates, and from other relevant teams to ensure that value evidence initiatives and RWE studies are aligned with business priorities and optimize access, reimbursement, and uptake of the pipeline products in Latin America.
- Critically assess drivers and barriers to expand public and private market access in Oncology and identify value evidence needs in Latin America to demonstrate the value of our in line and pipeline assets
- Effectively develop/communicate findings from real-world activities internally and to external stakeholders.
- Present RWE at international/national congresses and publish articles in scientific journals.

**Position Qualifications**:
**Education Minimum Requirement**:

- Doctoral (preferred) degree from a school of medicine, public health, management, pharmacy, or related fields
- Master´s degree from a recognized school of medicine, public health, management, pharmacy, or economics

**Required Experience and Skills**:

- In-depth understanding of HTA/reimbursement and market access needs in key markets of Latin America
- Demonstrated expertise in planning and managing real-world evidence activities, including design and implementation of clinical, epidemiological and health economic studies
- A track record of RWE scientific presentations and publications in peer-review journals is mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and strategic thinking skills
- Professional Proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese
- Pharmaceutical/CRO/consulting firms experience

**Preferred Experience and Skills**:

- International experience working in multiple countries in Latin America
- Oncology experience
