This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
Your Mission:
In this on-site position, you will be responsible for developing and executing the account strategy for the mining sector, with a focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will work on the front line of sales, supporting projects, solving technical and commercial demands, and providing market and competitor insights to identify new business opportunities.
This position is part of ABB's Process Industries (PAPI) division in Brazil and is dedicated to strategic mining customers, in close collaboration with engineering, operations, and product management teams. The working model is hybrid, with a strong emphasis on travel.
Your Main Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and execution of account plans and growth strategies for CapEx projects in the mining industry.
- Understand key business drivers and risks (e.g., digitalization, electrification, sustainability), and translate them into strategic opportunities for ABB.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies based on current and long-term customer plans.
- Define and meet sales targets, monitor pricing trends and competitor movements, and ensure the implementation of appropriate response strategies.
- Act as a strategic advisor to customers, ensuring ABB solutions are aligned with their investment priorities and technical requirements.
- Travel frequently across Brazil to maintain close contact with customers (approximately 80% field presence).
Required Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of the mining industry and experience with CapEx projects.
- Strong background in technical B2B sales, account management, or business development.
- Experience using CRM systems, Power BI, and commercial performance analysis.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge in automation, digital solutions, and electrification is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Availability for frequent travel (up to 80% of the time).
- Based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
