Role Mission

Are you passionate about solutions for the energy, marine, and offshore segments and want to be part of a global company that is transforming the industry with cutting-edge technology? ABB is looking for a Service Sales Manager to join our Marine & Ports Division team in Brazil. If you have experience in sales and services in the segments mentioned above, team leadership, and contract negotiation, and are ready to take on major challenges, this opportunity is for you

Responsibilities

- Ensure the execution of the sales strategy for the entire Marine & Ports Division portfolio in Brazil through planning, leadership, and development of the sales team.

- Create, plan, and implement sales strategies and initiatives for business development, aligned with the global strategy.

- Set sales targets and monitor their achievement, defining and implementing improvement plans.

- Identify opportunities with new, existing, and potential customers within the country, adjusting the sales plan and resource allocation when necessary.

- Develop strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, as well as associations and representative entities in the marine and offshore segments, ensuring efficient communication and customer satisfaction.

- Participate in negotiations of service contracts with strategic customers and ensure previously established margins.

- Lead and develop the sales team, maintaining a healthy, organized environment with qualified and focused professionals.

Requirements

- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Naval Engineering, or Automation (highly desirable).

- Proven experience in sales and services, preferably in the energy, marine, and offshore segments.

- Solid experience in leadership and people management, with availability for frequent travel.

- Proven track record of closing deals and negotiating service contracts.

- Fluent English for conversation and writing is mandatory.

- Must reside in Rio de Janeiro, Niterói, or Macaé.

- Active Category B driver’s license is required.

- Knowledge of ship electrical systems (generation, distribution, and propulsion) and digital services.
