Learning & Development Coach, Leader Coaching Team

The Learning & Development Coach role within the Leader Coaching Team (LCT) provides superior facilitation and coaching across Worldwide Operations (WWOPs) leaders. They are responsible for facilitating remote and in-person learning experiences to support leader development for all Global Operations Learning and Development (GOLD) Programs. They partner with stakeholders, Program Managers (PMs), Learning Business Partners (LBPs), and Operations stakeholders to execute holistic solutions considering both an optimal learning experience and business needs. In addition to assisting in the ongoing development and facilitation of skills of peers, the L&D Coach also helps prepare and provide feedback to business presenters. They apply high standards for coaching effectiveness, demonstrating ethical practice and a client-centered coaching mindset.

Consultation, Solution Implementation, & Delivery: With emphasis on Earn Trust, the L&D Coach cultivates partnerships with participants and stakeholders to gather information and data to make necessary changes to evolve and improve the Instructor-Led-Training (ILT) and Remote-Instructor-Led-Training (VILT) experience. They enable the delivery of learning, utilizing technology and providing the learner with specific examples that address real-life scenarios applicable to their daily responsibilities. The L&D Coach identifies what types of information respond well via the ILT/VILT modality. As a result, Invent and Simplify will be a strategic component to success within the role and in future growth within LCT.

They are trained and/or experienced with delivering and providing relatable examples when facilitating DEI or leading inclusive content. For example, during each module/course introduction they lay the foundation to establish DEI policies and expectations. This individual also ensures learners, and business presenters all have safe and inclusive learning environment within each program, through the diversity of course materials and accessibility of the content; i.e., inclusive terminology.

Measuring Learning Impact: The L&D Coach requires Learn & Be Curious and Dive Deep by working backwards through the needs of the learner with a scientific approach using adult learning theory in the delivery, develop, and evaluate phases of program life-cycles. This person works with PMs and Business Intelligence (BI) to improve the quality of learning solutions. In developing facilitation solutions, the L&D Coach plans for the unexpected and proactively manages risks (i.e., technological fallback, business presenter mishaps, and audience disengagement). The L&D Coach ensures success metrics are in place for measuring projects, evaluating Business Presenters and analyzing survey engagement feedback. This person uses data analytics to create and monitor dashboards and consults with PMs to identify stakeholder key performance indicators and drives to meet goals.

Key job responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led trainings (in-person and remote) programs. Must be able to facilitate high quality learner-focused programs which have informative content and engaging learning techniques and environment.
- Upskill, train, coach, and provide feedback to business presenters to ensure that these colleagues can deliver the same high quality training so that customers receive the appropriate learning outcomes.
- Partner with key customers and stakeholders (Program Managers, Learning Business Partners, and Operations leaders) in order to assess, understand, and provide GOLD support towards a number of different leadership development training programs.
- Identify, scope, and deliver individual and team-based projects to better suit the changing needs of the business and our customers.
- Develop, analyze, and interpret data, feedback, and results of training to assess level of competency gained in order to provide and communicate updates to stakeholders in addition to developing training sessions and products through continuous improvement.
- Develop products and solutions through independent and collaborative projects in order to address the fast-paced and dynamic needs of the business.
- This is a remote role and the candidate will be based in Brazil.
- Candidate must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

A day in the life
Approximately, 75% of the time would be spent in facilitation of various programs. 25% of the time would be spent on Project Management and Stakeholder Management.About the team

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in classroom (in-person and/or remote) facilitation, with excellent facilitation and communication skills (oral, written, and body language), and interpersonal skills to comfortably and confidently present to large audiences
- Experience formulating and implementing training/performance improvement strategies, methodologies, and procedures for standardization and delivery throughout a large organization
- Experience and ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues quickly to preserve the learning experience
- English and Spanish proficiency, both written and oral- Completed Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as business, education, instructional design, or organizational development
- Master's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development or Instructional Design
- Operational experience, either inside or outside Amazon
- Experience with learning management systems (KNet, Thinking Cap) or other online remote learning platforms
- Program and project management skills
