ABOUT THE COMPANY As the Regional Channel Development Lead, you will be the field general charged with conquering and cultivating our newest markets. Your mission: design, build and manage a high-performance sales-channel network (distributors, system integrators, installers, strategic alliance partners) that delivers regional revenue and profit targets and lands our integrated home-energy + VPP offering. RESPONSIBILITIES Channel Strategy & Development - Define and execute the regional channel-growth strategy; map the channel landscape and ideal-partner profiles. - Proactively source, qualify, negotiate and contract new partners; continuously expand width and depth of coverage. - Priority: secure strategic alliances with large installers, PV system integrators, ESCOs and electricity retailers. Channel Management & Enablement - Act as the primary contact and support hub for partners; build durable, trust-based relationships. - Deliver comprehensive product, technical and sales training to lift partners’ selling and service capability. - Work with Marketing to plan and run localized channel campaigns, incentive schemes and support programmes that drive sell-through. Sales Targets & Performance Management - Own and achieve regional revenue, market-share and profit objectives. - Manage the pipeline, produce accurate forecasts and review partner KPIs on a regular cadence. - Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract closure. Market Intelligence & Feedback - Collect and analyse local market intel, competitor moves and customer feedback. - Feed front-line insights back to HQ Product, Marketing and Solutions teams to influence roadmap and strategic decisions. VPP Ecosystem Building - Explore and drive VPP/virtual-power-plant initiatives in the region; establish cooperation with grid operators, aggregators and other key stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS Education - Bachelor’s degree or above; Business, Engineering or related field preferred. Experience - 8+ years B2 B sales or channel management in the assigned region. - Proven, verifiable channel network in residential PV, battery storage, EV chargers or adjacent home-energy segments. “Bring-your-own-book” candidates strongly preferred. - Track record of building a channel from scratch to scale. - Prior cooperation with installer, electrical or building-material channels is a plus. Core Competencies - Outstanding communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills across cultures. - High self-drive, results orientation and problem-solving ability. - Basic finance and legal literacy to manage contracts and commercial terms. Language - Fluent English mandatory; must also speak the local language of the assigned region (e.g., ANZ: English; Germany: German; Japan: Japanese, etc.). Other - Valid local driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
