BI Data Specialist

The Business Intelligence (BI) team seeks a skilled BI Data Specialist to join our ranks. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Qlik-based platforms.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop robust data models, and create dynamic dashboards and reports that empower decision-making. You will ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data relationships and deliver predictive insights to stakeholders using advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Qlik solutions.
  • Optimise report performance and manage data integration from different sources.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during and post-launch phases.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity in all Qlik environments.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and end-user training resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Qlik development, encompassing both QlikView and Qlik Sense.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting, data modelling, and complex ETL processes within Qlik.
  • Expertise in using Qlik APIs for integration and custom development tasks.
  • Solid understanding of BI concepts and best practices in data visualisation and user experience.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
