About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Customer Advisor to join our Commodity Insights Client Service team in the Latin America region. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer support and training to our clients, helping them navigate our International Exploration & Production content and Geoscience and Engineering Software products.

The Team:

You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team that provides customer support and trainings in the Latin America region. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

The Impact:

As an Engineering Customer Advisor, you will play a critical role in helping to secure renewals, close new business, and deepen our relationships with clients. You will work closely with product management and sales teams to develop processes or product enhancements to address customer needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer support and training to clients via phone, email, and live meetings.
  • Troubleshoot client issues to determine root cause and provide the quickest and best resolution to customers.
  • Create and deliver complex workflows in a straightforward and clear manner.
  • Develop an understanding of the users and be their 'voice' within the business by conveying customer feedback to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Continually improve product knowledge to ensure the best support can be offered to all clients.
  • Participate in regional event planning, representing the S&P Global Commodity Insight solutions in regional events.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience in the E&P industry, focused on engineering.
  • Previous experience working with data and applications in the exploration and production industry is desirable.
  • First-class presentation and software demo skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Empathy with user issues related to exploration, strategy & geoscience workflows, and an ability to articulate user problems to S&P colleagues to find solutions/responses.
  • Familiarity with the LATAM region.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and attend conferences.
  • Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills.
  • Highly articulate with a very good command of English and Spanish is essential. Fluency in Portuguese is an advantage.
