About the Role:
As a key member of the Commodity Insights Client Service team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and training to clients in the Latin America region. Our team is dedicated to delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible experience with our International Exploration & Production content and Geoscience and Engineering Software products.

The Team:
You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team that is passionate about delivering exceptional results. Our team is comprised of experts in the energy industry who are dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of the market. We work closely with product management and sales to develop processes and product enhancements that address customer needs.

The Impact:
As a support advisor, you will play a critical role in helping to secure renewals, close new business, and deepen our relationships with clients. By developing an understanding of the users and their needs, you will act as a customer advocate and work with product management and sales to develop solutions that meet their needs. The role requires regular client-facing meetings and on-site trainings.

Responsibilities:
  1. You will interact with clients via phone, email, and live meetings to provide support and trainings on our Upstream products.
  2. You will troubleshoot client issues to determine root cause and provide the quickest and best resolution to customers.
  3. You will create and deliver complex workflows in a straightforward and clear manner.
  4. You will develop an understanding of the users and be their 'voice' within the business by conveying customer feedback to the relevant stakeholders.
  5. You will continually improve product knowledge to ensure the best support can be offered to all clients.
  6. You will participate in regional event planning and represent the S&P Global Commodity Insight solutions in regional events.

Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in the energy industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. 3-5 years' experience in the E&P industry, focused on engineering.
  2. Previous experience working with data and applications in the exploration and production industry is desirable.
  3. First-class presentation and software demo skills.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Empathy with user issues related to exploration, strategy & geoscience workflows, and an ability to articulate user problems to S&P colleagues to find solutions/responses.
  6. Familiarity with the LATAM region.
  7. Ability to work as an integral part of a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
  8. Willingness to travel for client visits and attend conferences.
  9. Excellent organizational, time, and project management skills.
  10. Highly articulate with a very good command of English and Spanish is essential. Fluency in Portuguese is an advantage.
