Logistics Coordinator Position

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to lead our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain logistics.

Job Description:
  • The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the logistics department, including tracking south-bound cargo, creating priority cargo reports, and preparing Chilean resupply requests.
  • This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for supervising the work activities of others, making recommendations concerning performance appraisal and professional development, and ensuring all operations procedures are followed effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the Logistics Coordinator will interact with various departments and stakeholders on a regular basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of combined experience working in inventory materials management, purchasing, warehousing, cargo, transportation, or supply chain logistics is required.
  • An associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are necessary for this role.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, organization, and customer service skills are also required.
