Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist Lead to join our team. As the lead logistics specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department, including managing tasking requirements, workflow, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage process: Ensure all operations procedures are followed effectively, identify and recommend needed changes to Logistics Department Management on the standardized processes for the functional area.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: Guides associates in daily operations, monitors to ensure a high degree of productivity, safety, service, and quality.
• Drives Results: Responsible for tracking south-bound cargo by creating a preliminary and final priority cargo report for cargo to be loaded on the next vessel.

Requirements:
• Associate degree required or an additional two years' experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A Minimum three+ years of combined experience working in any of the following fields: Inventory materials management, purchasing, warehousing, cargo, transportation, or supply chain logistics including the use of forklifts, hand trucks, and other powered and non-powered lifting devices.
• Intermediate skills with minimum one year of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail with high aptitude for detailed problem-solving and professionalism.
• Strong analytical, organization, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
