About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead our Global Payments team in Brazil. As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the regional IT strategy and operating model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and deploy tools to support the Global Payments mission
  • Architect and improve technology stack, process, and procedures
  • Provide oversight and management of outsourced service providers for IT
  • Identify and deploy improvements and new functionality to systems
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business goals are achieved
  • Monitor and manage all hardware, software, databases, and licenses
  • Lead information security control management and governance
  • Define technological strategies and ensure processes meet regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Strong experience in designing, deploying, and managing IT infrastructure
  • High degree of integrity and trustworthiness
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge and remain current on new developments in cybersecurity
  • In-depth experience in BR Data Privacy & Protection Standards, Regulations, and Attestation programs for LGPD
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth experience in Data Security, Privacy, and Protection
  • Experience in deploying and managing standard certification frameworks
  • Previously approved as an Authorised Officer by the Central Bank of Brazil or by any other supervisory authority of the financial sector
  • Experience using one or more programming/scripting languages
  • Familiarity with source code management tools and securing data across SaaS and IaaS cloud platforms
