Lead Tax Manager Brazil

We are seeking a strategic tax professional to lead our tax team in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Brazilian tax laws and regulations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive business growth.

About the Role:

The Tax Manager will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance across multiple legal entities and subsidiaries, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting high-impact projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives;
  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals fostering high performance and technical growth;
  • Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, ICMS-ST) for both legal and corporate purposes;
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Brazilian tax legislation, including the implementation of tax reform;
  • Manage tax risks and provide advisory support for business initiatives;
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify tax optimization opportunities;
  • Manage tax audits and interactions with government authorities;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or related field;
  • Solid experience in tax management, with a strong focus on Brazilian tax laws and regulations;
  • Leadership skills, proven ability to lead and manage a large team effectively;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Portuguese and English;
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity in managing sensitive financial information;

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills;
  • Proficiency in SAP, tax software, and Microsoft Office Suite;
