Senior Manager, Workday Functional Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Workday Functional Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of Workday solutions, partnering with business leads to enable new software capabilities, and managing large-scale program management and business change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Workday implementation projects, evaluating new functionalities and trends, and delivering high-quality functional Workday solutions.
  • Partner with key business leads to enable new software capabilities and drive business outcomes.
  • Manage large-scale program management and business change management, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, communications, and issue resolution.
  • Drive new solutions, defining and documenting requirements, participating in workshops, and developing functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support.
  • Ensure technology adoption and realization of benefits, and establish proper operation and support models for new implementations.
  • Manage budgets and costs associated with Workday implementation projects.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Workday implementation, with a strong background in gathering requirements, design, prototype, and testing of Workday functional solutions.
  • Demonstrated history of orchestrating Workday implementations and large-scale program management.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to organize, hire, manage, and train teams.
  • Ability to partner with senior leaders, developers, and other stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong business analyst skills, with the ability to drive tasks to closure and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to identify priorities and actionable paths.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and consensus-building skills to engage with colleagues, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
  • Excellent group facilitation and communication skills to develop relationships and lead complex working sessions, discovery and design workshops, meetings, and executive-level discussions.
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
