Senior Manager, Workday Functional Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Workday Functional Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of Workday solutions, partnering with business leads, and driving business change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Workday implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Partner with business leads to understand business requirements and develop functional Workday solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contract management to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage large-scale program management and business change management initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, communications, and issue resolution.
  • Drive new solutions, defining and documenting requirements, participating in workshops, and developing functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure technology adoption and realization of benefits, and establish proper operation and support models.
  • Manage budgets and costs associated with Workday implementations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Workday implementation experience, with a strong understanding of Workday modules, including Human Capital Management, Workday Learning, Workday Recruiting, Workday Projects, Workday Extend, and Cloud Connect for Third Party Payroll and Learning.
  • Demonstrated history of orchestrating Workday implementations.
  • Large-scale program/project management skills and extensive experience in driving comprehensive software implementations.
  • Ability to organize, hire, manage, train, and lead teams of employees and contractors.
  • Ability to partner with senior leaders, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Business analyst skills and ability to drive tasks to closure.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
  • Excellent group facilitation and communication skills.
  • Relevant degree and experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
