A skilled robotics professional is required to work with our team.

Our client seeks an expert in embedded systems, robotics, and computer vision to support the design and deployment of ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) platforms used for inspection and maintenance in various industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing software solutions for ROV control, data acquisition, and real-time processing.

  • Responsibilities include assisting with the development of embedded software solutions, programming microcontrollers, and integrating diverse sensors into ROV platforms.
  • Candidates must collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to define and maintain the electronics architecture of underwater robotic systems.
  • The successful applicant will ensure robust data communication and control between topside systems and subsea units.
  • Testing, calibration, and field validation of ROV systems will be performed in offshore and renewable environments.
  • Maintenance of technical documentation and support for deployment teams during inspection missions is crucial.
  • Routine maintenance and inspections of robotic systems and automated machinery will also be performed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • Knowledge of underwater robotics, ROV operation principles, and industrial inspection use cases is essential.
  • Industry experience in oil & gas or offshore renewable energy inspection and maintenance is preferred.
  • Candidates must have experience with OpenCV and computer vision techniques in real-world environments.
  • Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Linux-based systems is also required.
