Fragrance Formulation Specialist

As a Senior Laboratory Technician in our Applications team, you will be responsible for preparing fragrance applications in different bases and providing technical support to meet the needs of creative and development teams, sales teams, and external customers.
Your key responsibilities will include coordinating activities of the application lab, preparing fragrance applications in different bases, participating in technical support activities, acting as a point of contact in the lab for specific customers/projects across categories, and performing physical-chemical measurements. You will also be responsible for writing and updating technical documentation, formulation preparation of internal bases, colour matching, operating and maintaining standard lab equipment, recording and communicating results accurately and promptly, managing customer base inventories and project submission retained application samples, and assisting in the administration of materials and laboratory organization.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to mentor and assist other junior technicians, trainees, and others, and provide occasional technical support to Creation and Development teams, Sales teams, and external customers by applying diverse knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or higher education qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or a similar subject, and at least 5-7 years lab experience in a related area. You should also have understanding of laboratory techniques as applied to perfumery, knowledge of Microsoft Applications, and the ability to speak and understand English.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Degree or Higher Education qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or similar subject
- At least 5-7 years lab experience in related area
- Understanding of laboratory techniques as applied to perfumery
