Accounting Organization

We have built a world-class Accounting organization that is at the forefront of operationalizing new business initiatives. Our team is collaborative and adds significant value to our stakeholders through advanced data analytics, driving business insights, identifying and implementing improvements through a wide array of digital finance automation and visualization tools, as well as supporting enterprise-wide system implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the monthly close process and projects.
  • Perform analytical assignments and prepare accounting reports.
  • Prepare reconciliations of accounts, actively investigating reconciling items to resolve timely.
  • Perform analysis and coordinate with partners to resolve any differences.
  • Analyze and interpret reports for managers, providing recommendations to guide business decisions.
  • Field issues and respond to inquiries, ensuring resolution.
  • Maintain records for accounting transactions.
  • Compare system outputs with daily input verifying for accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
  • Lead the company's efforts to comply with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley while ensuring compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.
  • Lead or participate in training and skills development initiatives as a subject matter expert.
  • Participate in the identification and implementation of improvements to accounting processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with the preparation of general ledger postings and account reconciliations.
  • Experience with FASB requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and accounting standard methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Experience with accounting systems and applications such as SAP, PeopleSoft, CPM/Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, Blackline, or related systems and applications.
  • Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
  • CRC certification (or are in the process of obtaining certification).
  • Accounting experience supporting LATAM countries.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good team, organizational planning skills, sound judgment, and works with a high sense of urgency.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
