Job Title: Sales Manager

At Hitachi Energy, we are committed to advancing a sustainable energy future for all. Our purpose is to bring power to our homes, schools, hospitals, and factories. We are seeking a qualified Sales Manager who can help drive our sales and marketing efforts forward.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement marketing and sales plans that expand our sales by meeting/exceeding operational revenue budgets within allocated market areas.
  • Liaise with end-users to homologate and have approved insulation & components portfolio, clarifying tender specifications.
  • Achieve remarkable business growth on a sustainable basis through continuous proactive search for business opportunities.
  • Build and reinforce sustainable customer relationships at the appropriate levels to ensure client satisfaction, growth, and retention.
  • Secure training and competence development of your team as a key tool for people growth and market differentiation.
  • Feed the organization with market intelligence and use customer feedback to drive consistent development of processes and practices.
  • Provide a regular forecast on operational revenue per product line and country.
  • Support the business between insulation & components and HUB, GPG, and HE Transformer Units.
  • Create synergies among product lines to increase sales volumes per project.
  • Support Product Groups on technical and commercial aspects of offers and projects in close collaboration with direct customers and internal partners.
Requirements:
  • Degree (Bachelor or Master) in a technical discipline, ideally Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, plus further qualification in business administration.
  • Market and product knowledge in the field of power transformers or distribution transformers insulation and components is essential.
  • Experience in business development, account management, and cross-selling across systems, solutions, and product categories.
  • Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management, and commercial and legal terms.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, customer-focused, with the ability to establish and manage long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and CRM, preferably Salesforce.
  • Business fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
