Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Sustainability Professional to drive the development and implementation of our Environmental, Health & Safety programs. This role requires a technical authority with expertise in EHS regulations, risk assessments, audits, and safety culture initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of EHS policies, programs, and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA), identifying potential hazards and developing effective mitigation plans.
  • Manage and execute EHS audits, inspections, and internal assessments; ensure timely corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead root cause investigations for accidents, incidents, and near-misses; develop corrective and preventive action plans to eliminate recurrence.
  • Deliver EHS training programs across multiple levels of the organization, driving awareness, engagement, and accountability.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) providing technical guidance on safety, environmental compliance, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene across projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all EHS activities, ensuring full regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
  • Monitor EHS KPIs, analyze trends, and report performance metrics to senior management, identifying areas of opportunity for further improvement.
  • Foster a strong safety-first culture throughout the organization, promoting proactive behaviors and ownership of EHS responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Postgraduate degree or certification in Occupational Safety Engineering or Environmental Management strongly preferred.
  • Active registration and certification with relevant professional bodies (e.g., CREA, OSHA, ISO certifications).
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS roles, preferably within manufacturing, industrial operations, renewable energy, or construction environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Brazilian and international EHS regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience leading risk assessments, audits, accident investigations, and safety culture initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
  • Fluent in Portuguese; Intermediate to Advanced English required.
