Renewable Energy Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the commercial and strategic development of solar energy projects in Brazil.

  • This role will be pivotal in expanding our renewable energy portfolio and securing new opportunities in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the development of brownfield solar projects from early-stage prospecting through to financial close.
  • Deliver target project financial metrics at financial close.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with landowners, partners, and public stakeholders.
  • Coordinate pure development activities to reach ready-to-build permitting status.
  • Organize the project dataroom and Q&A processes for Due Diligence.
  • Negotiate Condition Precedents related to the development of project.
  • Prepare commercial and tender documentation.
  • Evaluate project compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project schedule and coordination of necessary works.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure project delivery.
  • Elaborate presentations to company executives for follow-up/decision making.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
  • Significant experience in business development for utility-scale Solar PV projects in Brazil.
  • Proven track record in managing full project lifecycle.
  • Strong negotiation skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, permitting, and grid connection processes in Brazil.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
