We are seeking a skilled Database Expert to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Oracle-based database solutions across hybrid cloud environments.
This position requires deep expertise in Oracle technologies, a strong understanding of cloud architectures, and a commitment to delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance database services.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and implement Oracle database solutions in AWS environments with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
- Administer and optimize Oracle databases running on Oracle Linux to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Develop and maintain database automation scripts and utilities using PL/SQL, Python, and shell scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with application and infrastructure strategies.
- Define and enforce database standards, policies, and best practices.
- Monitor and tune database performance, manage capacity planning, and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Oracle Database administration and engineering in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Linux and related system administration tasks.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, Python, and scripting for automation and data processing.
- Solid understanding of database security, backup/recovery, and high availability architectures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Oracle certifications preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Deseired Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native database services in AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in SQL Server is highly desired.
- Proficiency in MongoDB is highly desired.
