We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a Middle/Senior Voice and Cloud Communications Engineer role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality BICS Voice and CC Value Streams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide second-line support for all BICS Voice & Cloud Communication services and platforms
  • Ensure network availability and quality
  • Perform proactive and reactive maintenance actions
  • Suggest improvements in proactive tasks & processes
  • Collaborate with first-line and customer care teams to resolve customer-reported issues
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to report problems, follow up on resolutions, and implement fixes in the BICS network
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics, Computer Sciences, IT, ICT, or Telecommunications
  • 3+ years of experience in telecom, mainly in voice switching (mobile telecom operators or international carriers), with a focus on provisioning and repair activities
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Telecom technologies and ITU/ETSI telecom standards/protocols (SS7/ISUP, VoIP/SIP, RTP, MGCP)
  • Good understanding of network switching and routing as related to a Unified Communications and Voice over IP network
  • Experience with NGN platforms (Sonus or Dialogic operational experience is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of SBCs like Ribbon SBC, Metaswitch SBC
  • Unix/Linux basic operational experience
