Job Summary
The Country Manager, Brazil will play a pivotal role in launching and accelerating the adoption of cryptocurrency in the country. This individual will be responsible for creating and achieving the company's short and long-term goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a country operational and commercial growth strategy, including building the necessary infrastructure to support the company's growth.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the local business unit and collaborating with the Brazilian team and the GM Latam to ensure regional alignment.
- Ensuring localized products are launched on-time, in collaboration with the PMO and operations team.
- Acting as a liaison with local authorities and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring compliance with all local regulatory requirements, working closely with the Compliance and Risk team.
- Building new business relationships and expanding the value proposition for customers and distribution channels.
- Conducting regular reviews of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Supporting the management team with new market and partnerships opportunities, including developing and signing new relationships with regional partners.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of professional experience and knowledge of the Brazilian Payments Ecosystem.
- Familiarity with the Regulatory/Bureaucratic requirements and reporting responsibilities.
- Result-oriented with a hands-on approach, analytical/decision-making skills, and business acumen.
- Creative and resourceful in overcoming barriers and challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner.
- Ability to work within and lead a cross-functional team.
- Ability to assimilate a large amount of information to identify data-driven action plans.
- Understanding of financial performance of the product portfolios.
- Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of the Brazilian payments and regulatory requirements.
