Bid Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the bidding and proposal processes, ensuring successful presentations and follow-up of opportunities. As a key member of the Sales team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality offers and supporting presales activities.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage bid strategies to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and high quality.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support bidding and proposal activities.
- Validate associated risks and ensure compliance with legal, economic, and technical requirements based on customer needs.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the status of submitted offers, active opportunities, and the projected pipeline.
- Stay informed on market and technology trends related to the Kapsch portfolio.
- Engage in continuous self-training on solutions to stay up-to-date.
- Ensure adherence to procedures throughout the bid and proposal processes.
- Identify and develop commercial opportunities within bids, proposals, and ongoing opportunities with both potential and current customers.
- Proven experience in Bid Development.
- Knowledge of urban traffic, tolling systems, ITS solutions, and/or telecommunications.
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in Portuguese.
- Proficiency in Spanish or English.
- Project delivery and implementation management experience is an asset.
As a Bid Development Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in bid strategy development, team collaboration, and project management.
