Commercial Flows Specialist

Louis Dreyfus Company, a leading global merchant and processor of agricultural goods, has an opportunity for a Commercial Flows Specialist to join its Finance Processes Systems and Organization team.

The ideal candidate will have strong operational experience and expertise in commercial flows, with the ability to work independently and take ownership. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to group practices and processes for commercial activities, supporting countries in execution while maintaining tool, organizational, and process efficiency.

Activities may include live country support and small enhancements, such as enhancing user experience, driving continuous improvement, maintaining the core model, supervising changes, and keeping documentation up to date. Additionally, the role will involve launching and driving initiatives to improve business operations and implementing BOLD in new countries.

The successful candidate will have a fundamental understanding of core accounting and finance processes, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with different business groups and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Requirements and Qualifications

Key qualifications include 3-5 years of strong operational experience, preferably from a finance or technology consulting firm. The ideal candidate should also have experience participating in finance transformation projects as an internal or external resource, working in project mode across individual contributor to leadership roles, and experience in companies in agriculture or commodity businesses.

  • Experience in finance transformation projects, especially in commercial flows
  • Experience in international environments
  • Experience in process design and IT tool implementation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with different business groups

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is required, with majors in Information Systems and/or Finance/Accounting and/or Process & Organization Management.
