Logistics Expert for Final Mile Delivery

Our ideal candidate will oversee the final mile logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-efficient parcel distribution through partner carriers.

To achieve this goal, they will monitor daily operations, investigate anomalies, and implement corrective actions to maintain service excellence.

The selected professional must define and track KPIs such as on-time delivery, delivery success rate, and transit times.

They will develop dashboards and reports to provide data-driven insights to internal stakeholders and senior management.

The Logistics Expert will also manage relationships with last mile carriers, ensuring service levels meet company standards.

They will conduct regular meetings, align volume forecasts, and monitor SLAs to maintain high performance.

Additionally, they will establish and document best practices for last mile logistics, defining roles, responsibilities, and performance management models to ensure consistency across operations.

Finally, the Logistics Expert will identify and implement improvements in delivery operations, benchmarking industry best practices and developing initiatives to enhance efficiency, capacity, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in last mile logistics operations, preferably in e-commerce and/or express logistics.
  • Mandatory fluency in Portuguese and English. Spanish and Mandarin are a plus.
