Job Title: Payroll Operations Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries.
Responsibilities- Country Portfolio Management: Manage country portfolios for payroll and benefit administration operationally.
- Labor Reporting: Ensure monthly labor reporting is accurate and support results through reconciliation processes.
- Customer Support: Provide support to HR and employees by researching inquiries and delivering excellent customer service.
- Payroll Accuracy: Ensure payroll accuracy following all controls.
- Purchase Orders and Invoices: Create purchase orders as needed, review invoices, and ensure proper clearance.
- Problem-Solving: Identify problems that require investigation and analysis and develop solution options.
- Project Support: Support project tasks related to expansion activities, including acquisitions and new countries.
- Funding and Payments: Manage funding and process payments to ensure timely employee payment.
- Tax Payments: Process tax payments for different countries.
- Audits: Attend mandatory audits, providing reports and information as needed.
- Vendor Management: Manage payroll vendors and ensure timely payroll processing.
- Process Improvement: Seek opportunities for process improvement.
- Knowledge Base: Create and maintain up-to-date knowledge bases and internal desktop procedures.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in speaking and writing in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
- Experience: Experience in payroll/finance/accounting.
- Process Management: Demonstrates process management skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical/problem-solving and planning skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Organization: Highly organized with strong customer satisfaction mindset and ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships.
- Communication: Solid communication skills and ability to take initiative.
- Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently and in groups to complete time-sensitive projects.
- Data Security: Abide by security policies and practices.
- Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
- Breach Notification: Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
- Mandatory Training: Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings according to guidelines.
