We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Services Officer to join our team. As an Airport Services Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse anticipated operational problems and undertake necessary remedial action to ensure disruptions are minimised.\
  • Ensure that service providers are fully briefed regarding Emirates' requirements for the day's operation.\
  • Control expenditure on damage baggage replacement and lost baggage claims.\
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining the staff duty roster and in preparing the staff annual leave plan as necessary.\
  • Undertake various administrative duties delegated by the Airport Services Manager including attending meetings as directed.\
  • Manage and administer all operational/supervisory activities on a shift basis.\
  • Monitor KPI's for service performance and ensure that these KPI's are met consistently by each unit.\
  • Undertake projects from time to time as advised by the Airport Services Manager in relation to operational standards and procedures.\
  • Ensure Passenger Service and Ground Operations Manual updates are communicated and adhered to.\
  • Promote a continuously improving culture of safety with open reporting of safety deficiencies and compliance with local laws.\
  • Coordinate and manage the airport's operations including handling agents, caterers, airlines, and authorities.\
  • Manage and supervise staff on duty ensuring that the relevant areas of the operation are fully covered.\
  • Assume responsibility for running of the Station during the absences of the Airport Services Manager.\
