Job Description

Scope of Position:

To foster a strategic and mutually beneficial relationship with customers worldwide for Expeditors International of Washington, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue a larger global wallet share with all customers while promoting up and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with various departments and branches to promote existing and new service offerings.
  • Manage global pipeline and opportunities to ensure healthy growth potential and faster business closure.
  • Promote Expeditors marketing activities and customer events.
  • Review customers' revenue reports and analyze trends to identify at-risk customers.
  • Create and communicate a global strategic business plan in alignment with customers' mapping and Expeditors' goals.
  • Ensure global visibility and collaboration across Expeditors' network.
  • Penetrate customers' organization structure at all levels, developing relationships beyond the main point of contact.
  • Initiate value-added solutions based on Expeditors' service offerings and technology.

Qualifications:

  • University or equivalent business qualifications.
  • Proven work experience in Account Management (min 3 years mandatory).
  • Knowledge of international logistics products and services.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Charismatic with an ability to connect and basic communication skills and emotional intelligence to represent the company professionally and competently at all times.
